Iran struggles to find balance while the world tries to make sence of it all.


The Protests in Iran have lead many to jump to different conclusions. This new generation of politically aware youth were not even born at the time of Iran's Islamic revolution, so they feel disconnected with the rest of the world not understanding the true essence of the revolution that took place almost 30 years ago. They are well equipped with technology and have a good idea about the rest of the world through the window of Internet, web and telecommunication.
But outsiders are jumping to their own conclusions, below is what an Israeli newspaper has to say...

No one knows how the protests in Iran will end : "A perusal of newspaper headlines this week may lead the reader to the mistaken conclusion that the revolution has already occured. Indeed, a revolution in Iran is an old Israeli hope. For Israel, the end of the ayatollahs' regime could be seen as belated compensation for..."

Iran protests will lead to revolution : "Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Saturday that he believes the ongoing demonstrations in Iran over last week's disputed election result will eventually lead to a revolution in the country, Army Radio reported..."

Gilani's 100 days on the premier Seat...

Gilani, the current Pakistani prime Minister set himself a benchmark of a 100 days to check upon his own promises and the progress his government made...
That time is here and now and the critics are drawing their own conclusions from whatever has come about in these 100 days.

Associated press sees the current governement in disarray after breaking of PPPs coalition with Muslim League(N). The sentiments are not a whole lot different locally from how they're being seen by the global media. Dawn, the highest circulating newspaper in pakistan relates that, "Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani made in his 100-day agenda was overshadowed by more spectacular political and administrative failures and seemingly unending economic hardships."

Radio Australia sites multiple factors that have hindered in the stable running or affairs in pakistan, Militency, economy and ruling coalitions dispute over Musharraf and judiciary to name just the most highlighted ones.
